Stationery Inserts

Your information will be printed onto high quality paper inserts.  Most of our cards have loose inserts, you can therefore, easily address your invitations and then insert them into your cards.  This means if you make a mistake you will not waste a handmade card. 

We will always send you 5 more inserts than you need to allow for any mistakes. For designs where the inserts are pre-glued, it is advisable to order slightly more than you actually need, to allow for addressing errors.  A note on whether inserts are loose or glued is indicated on each design page.

Scroll Inserts

Scroll inserts are printed onto A4 parchment paper with a choice of designs for decoration.

Scroll Parchment Paper Colours
Your scroll insert will be printed onto parchment paper.  Choose your colour from the options shown below. 

Scroll  Borders
You can choose a variety of decorative features to enhance the look of your scroll insert, either Calligraphic Flashes (appear at the top and bottom of your scroll insert), or Decorative Corners (appear in the four corners of your scroll), or Decorate Border (which border the whole of your scroll insert).

All decorative features will be printed in the same colour as the font you choose for your wording.

Scroll Calligraphic Flashes

Choose one of the following decorative designs and it will be applied to the top and bottom of your scroll insert in the same colour as your font (as shown in CF1).

Scroll Decorative Corners

Choose one of the following designs and it will be placed in the four corners of your scroll insert (as shown in DC1).

Scroll Decorative Borders

Choose one of the following decorative borders to frame your scroll insert.

Insert/Scroll Personalisation

The wording that you place on the inserts inside your stationery is personal to you, but often it is difficult to know exactly what to put and how to phrase what you want to say. At Lovely Day we have tried to simplify the process for you and help with with some standard layout options.

Layout Options - Standard Layouts or your own words
You can choose to use our standard layouts or simply provide us with your own words.  Here are a selection of standard layouts for you to choose from.  These options will appear again, when you proceed through the ordering process.

Easy to Use Online Layouts
Our website, automates the ‘insert wording’ process to make it painless and easy.  Simply select your layout from the options shown or simply choose your own wording.  Our easy to use system will prompt you to choose your font type and colour, and for scrolls your preferred border and you you wish you can even personalise your stationery with your own photography.  Once you have completed the layout process, you will be prompted to check your layout, if you are unhappy with any of the wording or spellings, you can easily amend it and review it again.  Once you are happy you can approve it and it will automatically be sent to us to be printed into your stationery.  Simple!.   

Fonts

We offer a range of fonts,  simply choose from the selection below.  Generally we find that Black, Grey, Burgundy and Brown are the most popular font colours for printing inserts.  Alternatively, as an extra special touch, you may wish to have your inserts gold or silver foiled.

It is worth remembering, that if you choose a script font, that it can be difficult to read, when there is a large amount of text.
